Disaster Response

Every decade Australia experiences disasters which tragically claim lives and property such as bush fires, floods and cyclones. Often they impact a lot of properties across a wide region and this can stretch the resources of insurance companies and assessors. CENSEO Disaster Response is a specialist team of building and engineering consultants on standby to be rapidly dispatched to regional and remote locations to assist with damage claims. We have the capacity to complete large volumes of claims and as an example, we completed approximately 8,000 building inspections in Christchurch following their series of earthquakes.

The experience of our team includes the Newcastle earthquake in 1989, Wollongong Floods in 1998, Sydney Hailstorm in 1999.  In more recent times, we have provided resources into the following disasters:
